I was not getting along well with my leg when I arose for this seventh and final day of the ski, but I learned at the informational meeting the night before that the trail would be nicely groomed all the way to the end.
Hi Steve! My leg has made significant improvement. Ice/heat, ibuprofen, and laying low since getting back from Finland have helped a lot. I have gotten back to flexion with my foot without much pain. I am back to climbing stairs (I couldn't lead with my left leg I'm for may days after the crash). I swam a mile on Friday which seems to be a perfect level of resistance. It was a cautious ski last night, but that went well and I was able to stride into it without significant discomfort. I will continue swimming for the next couple of weeks at which point I hope to get back to running. With the ski season starting to wind down here, I will try my best to avoid the temptation to challenge it too much in the short term. Thanks for asking! All the best! Keith
Thanks Steve! It was awesome having the opportunity to meet you and to share the experience with you! I have a lot more photos posted so I will reach out to you about how to access those.
How's your leg? Looks like your skiing again.
