Fall Fish Runs
It took a third rain, but this one finally muddied up the stream enough today to roll out the welcome mat for fall spawning runs! Within 10 casts with my secret weapon, I tied into this perfect eating sized salmon which is presently on the smoker!
Fall is a great time to hit your favorite Keweenaw river in search of outstanding table fare! The extent to which you can fish most rivers becomes substantially less after September 30th when the upstream limits come into place; however, you will continue to find a number of excellent options for testing your fishing skills into November. Brilliant fall colors, crisp air, and few to no insects makes this time of year in the woods particularly special!
If you would value living in a place with ubiquitous natural beauty that has no congestion and presents outstanding opportunities for fishing, consider locating in the Keweenaw! Learn more about what the Keweenaw has to offer by visiting https://remoteworkforcekeweenaw.com!
