This past week started with an article covering Remote Workforce Keweenaw in Crain’s Detroit written by Eric Freedman about “climigrants” who are “seeking refuge from forest fires of Western states, flooding along the saltwater coasts and ever-rising temperatures causing drought in different corners of the continent.” The article featured remote workers Andrew and Shauna Parrish who came to Houghton from Boise Idaho.
